Super Mario 3D World - (SMW) Galoomba 16-bit SMB3 style By: DimpsyBoots
The Goomba from Super Mario World, as it appears in Super Mario 3D World... in the style of Super Mario Bros. 3 off of the Super Mario All-Stars on the Super Nintendo... yea that was a mouthful.

Oh wow that's a pretty stupid name, anyways I'll try to put out some more sprites here.
My next project regarding Mario is actually Smash Bros-related, so... yea I suppose. XD

Nah, I think it fits them rather well. I assume you'd be against SML's Goombos as well?
Anyway, I think the colors are too dark to actually suit the style.

They're actually called Chichi-bos.

They're actually called Chichi-bos.

Where exactly did you hear that from? If you're referring to Chibibos, that was a mistranslation in the original manual. They were retranslated to Goombos for the 3DS Virtual Console's version of the manual.

They're actually called Chichi-bos.

Chibibos/Chichi-bos refer to the round goombas in Super Mario Land.
Kuribons are the original name for the Galoombas in Super Mario World.
Galoombas are the new name for the SMW goombas in SM3DW.

No. Goombob is the name of the character in Mario Party Advance. Their current official name is Galoombas, as they had no official name during Super Mario World.

Case solved.

You're welcome.

Actually you broke it but whatever.
Goombobs are a thing of Mario Party Advance, not Super Mario World. Even in the original Super Mario World manual they were just called "Goombas" at the time. Their current official name to distinct them from the Goombas we're used to are "Galoombas".

Goombobs =/= Galoombas
