General Commentary and Game Overview
So...sequel time, eh? It's been a little over a year since it's prequel was released. Now, what would you expect from a sequel? The same engine with different stuff in it? You're wrong. It's a much improved game, and it's currently the only lengthy blockbuster game released in MFGG.

Pros I never gave out pros much...but here goes. Ace Coin Challenge, Veggie Ability, 15+ levels that are all good, Hammer Bros Suit, Fireflower, Those pinball things, Ability to save, ability to go back to a previous level, and much more. I also like the idea how Jeff made the veggies appearances change depending on which level you are. There's also few MFGG cameos, and many other surprises.

Cons Not much that I see here, but the only things I know are that you can't bounce off enemies, it gets a little laggy when you enter rooms in Peach's Castle, and enemies can sometimes kill you in one shot. There should be more of random blocks, Rip Van Fish, etc. Fireballs don't go bouncy, sadly.

Impressions
Gameplay
9 / 10
Platform. Yes. But not just any platformer. There's abilities to veggie-pluck-and-throw, and unlike the first one, you can actually jump on enemies. There's flipper-thingies from Yoshi's Island, a mushroom covered in a bubble, where you have to throw 3 veggies at it, and even random blocks. And those are barely 1/10 of what this game contains. You can throw hammers and shoot fireballs, as well. I believe there's some retrospect from the first Super Mario Epic.

Graphics
10 / 10
There's no mixed bittages at all. Everything fits well together. I liked how Jeff edited the vegetables in each level, for example, a rotten vegetable in the cemetary. The graphic sets in each level are all relevant to each other, and there's an edit or handdraw in almost each and every sprite there is.

Sound
10 / 10
Remixes, non-Mario music, Rarely-Used Music...why can't most fangames do this, instead of the same old SMW music? The music fits well in every level. As for sounds, it's very impressive. Boos actually make sounds, there's lots of cannon sounds in the airship level. You'll get the idea.

Replay
10 / 10
You WILL play this over and over. There's the Ace Coin hunt in case you missed some coins, and if you get them all, you get a special surprise that enables you to play the game more easily. Lots of lengthy levels, too, so variety's no problem.

Final Words
10 / 10
Jeff Silvers worked REALLY hard on this. It's been a long wait, and it's worth it. Humor, Action, and everything you'd want in a fangame. It's all here. Super Mario Epic 2 will inspire many fangamers to make the best they can, and I believe it will continue to do so in the future.
