Nice! But isn't the car supposed to be purple? Either way it's pretty neat looking, except the throwing pose for Bowser looks a little bit... unnatural. I don't really know how else to explain it. I guess it looks a little bit too stiff.

But this submission looks great, I already used it.

yea, the car's supposed to be purple. and the SMB3 Bowser sprites aren't really meant for these kinds of poses without heavy editing, they're very stiff.

Unfortunately, there's no accurate purple for the SMB3 palette, so the purple in the SMB3 palette looks like icy indigo.

Oh, so that explains the coloring. I think you would have been better off making a completely new Bowser. The SMB3 Bowser is too stiff and isn't very nice anyways (in my opinion).
