Tileset Splitter 1.0 By: Xgoff [W]
A utility that can separate tilesets (or other types of images) into pieces of a given size, spacing, and offset, and save the pieces into individual files.

Version 1.0 works best with tilesets of consistent tile size and spacing.

This is a very neat utility. I'm sure people will find it useful (though I'm not sure of the extent of its usefulness to Game Maker programmers because of the built-in tool for dividing images into tiles in GM).

Useful, but Game Maker already has something like this built into it. Although it would help with sprite sheets.

I don't have an emulator, but I could use this to get sprites from screenshots. This is very useful.

Eh, I'm using it to help me get the sprites out of the spritesheets.

It can be A LOT more usefull if this progr of yours would be able to create PNG, transparent tile files instead of BMP files, it's anoying to turn them transparent in the GIMP when there is a lot to alpha-em-all, you know what im talking about, i mean...well...at least if you use it for flash stuff(i dunno if game maker or the other tools you use out there can manage them as well)

I can't find the file that the splitter puts them in... which is dumb.

the tiles should be in the Ripped Tiles folder within the same path as the main exe
