An Exodia final boss would be just pure awesomeness. I hope we can see others rise up and take this parody game.

Also, just a fun fact: the world map joke is based on spearfishing XD. It's an agonizing piece of work but still made it past QC lol.

It's been 4 years lol. But I found the latest version of this game on my mediafire account and played it.
It's freaking horrible and hard. I died a lot. And I barely beat the Waluigi boss at the end. Died like a million times.
I decided to send the version 2 update through the que anyway
BUT I'm not touching game maker again or anything.
I'm more focused on my writing.
(Pick up a copy of Fragment by Alvin Atwater haha)

Played this game for the first time in years. HOLY BALLS WAS IT HARD. I died to Sar alone like 15 times. And some glitches whew DANG! Wtf.
Nevertheless, the music was excellent.

Anyway, I definitely agree that it needs a story but he probably went with a Mario-usual: No story and pure game play (like the old Marios) though for Paper Mario, one would expect a nice and possibly humorous story :P

This game was never intended to be a simple "go in, play minigames quickly, then quit" kind of thing. If that's what you were after then this was never going to be the game for you.

It's good feedback though, and getting coins in other ways is something I would like to add in the future. I do plan to add things like sidequests to get easy coins and stop the reliance on Toadsworth if you run out, but if you're not a fan of the more RPGish nature of the game then it probably won't matter much to you.

Didn't mean to brush off as harsh but more as stated what I felt. It is within my personal tastes (as the review stated) but the sidequest idea is very good.
The mainly problem for me was not having a second try or some kind of practice option (not that this is Mario Party) before playing the game. To me, I just felt like it was quite unforgiving especially if you mess up lol.
Other than that, this is a good game and its addition to the site is appreciated.

Oh snap, DJ COCO released a promising game. I am back and will definitely give this a good old honest review.

I'll probably change the BoomBoom music in that case, if it was really annoying you in the first battle already, it's no good. Did you download the music pack though? It includes better music for BoomBoom and other levels/bosses. Anyway, I'll replace the MIDI.
As for King Walrus, I should indeed make it more obvious how to beat him. You have to hit the red orbs and fire back the particles at him. I'm still considering how to make this more obvious though.
I tried programming carrying, but due to this game's not-so-smooth collision engine, it didn't work, so unfortunately this is all I can do for the King Blooper boss.
I'm glad you liked the game though!

I probably missed it (the music pack). Besides those nics, I'm predicting this game to be on my 9/10-10/10 list because I really liked it. Especially the world map and menu system. Keep this up and I can't wait for the finished product.
