Thanks for everything you've done as an MFGG admin! I can totally understand why you might feel it's time to step down to a smaller role, though - I reached that same point myself a few years ago. I trust you'll still drop by sometimes and share your expertise - and cool projects - with us! |

Yeah, it's nice to see the Classic skin working properly again! I didn't notice the issues for a while because I rarely change my mainsite skin - while I change my forum skin depending on the season, I've usually stuck with the "Default" mainsite skin. Pro Tip: If you always use the same skins, whether on the mainsite or forums, spice up your life and try a different one sometimes! |

@Vertette Indeed! Going from PHP 5.6 to PHP 7 is a pretty big jump, requiring a lot of tedious troubleshooting. Eventually I'll go up to PHP 8.2 or 8.3, but I need some time to recover! |

@Q-Nova I agree that those are both pretty significant issues - especially with games not showing up in MFGG mainsite updates. After all, telling people when new games get accepted is a big part of why we have mainsite updates in the first place. I haven't found the root cause yet, unfortunately. Let's see if I (or someone else on MFGG) can dig deeper later this month - I hope I'll have a bit more free time to work on things like that. |

@AveCoo Something's seriously out of whack with the mainsite software. I'm not sure what's causing games to not show up in mainsite updates, but it's been happening off and on for the past year. I still haven't attained PHP wizard status yet, so let's see if we have a PHP wizard on our team who can fix this.

@TheCynicalPoet That's a bummer - if it's any consolation, you're not alone. There's something seriously out of whack with the updates system these days. I'll let you know once we figure out the problem.

MFGG's update system has been more finicky than usual lately - we're looking into this.

@WindowsXPUser @"hcdp 17712" Should be fixed now! Seems the previous build was missing a file.

@Q-Nova Don't worry - the missing updates and comments are all fixed now! Let me know if anything is missing.

@Astrakitu I've restored all the missing mainsite comments, except for the very small handful of comments made on March mainsite updates (those weren't in my backup). @Miles A very good tip indeed! |

Ha, a fair assessment! This game probably won't stay on the mainsite forever, but I might keep it around a bit longer as we refine our HTML5 game development - and hosting. I use the same button sound in a few of my games, including Career Fantasy and Satilla Composite. Legend has it that you might actually be able to escape if you get lucky enough... |

@littlelum Thanks for reporting this issue - and feel free to let me know if there's a good solution, whether in the GM game's settings or with some configuration option on the MFGG server. I've had a few hiccups with the music as well. @Q-Nova When playing GM browser games, I've had the best results with Chrome. Though even Chrome has occasionally been finicky with inputs. |

@Astrakitu That's right, my friend! That is exactly the thing this test submission is testing. @Vitiman Very punny, very punny! |

I really enjoyed this! This is probably the best Zelda fangame I've played. I like the big world to explore and the wide variety of items. I noticed a few bugs: * The game crashes whenever an arrow hits obj_grass * The sword sprite on the HUD shows a signpost sprite if Link is standing in range of a sign or other object you can talk to * If you explore the Lost Woods without playing Saria's Song, Link will move out of the camera's range, probably forcing you to warp away or close the game * I'm not sure if this is intentional, but it's annoying that the game automatically saves after you collect a Triforce piece but not after you collect a new item Also, the Hookshot is overpowered compared to the Fairy Bow. The Hookshot does the same amount of damage as the Fairy Bow but doesn't have any cooldown - you can spam the Hookshot over and over again. In the official Zelda games, the Hookshot and its cousins are usually weak weapons for stunning enemies rather than defeating them. Nitpicks aside, this is a great game that I highly encourage checking out. |

@Kirby's Adventure Ha! It's never too late to respond to a comment from a decade ago. @eliasisamazing I'm still an admin on another (small) forum I started. I also used to write video game guides at GameFAQs - that was fun! |

Thanks - I'm glad you enjoyed this! I wasn't familiar with Vampire Survivors, but I definitely see some parallels - the gameplay sounds a lot like what Brains probably would've been if I'd expanded my game. |

Ha, I can't disagree with you here. Back in 2010, I was trying to move away from making games based on premade engines and spend more time experimenting with more original concepts. Every game is a learning experience, especially when you're still relatively new to making games, but unfortunately, this experiment did not produce stellar gameplay. This is one of the few old Vinny games that I've never updated - it has no game-breaking bugs, and I also have no idea how to make it more interesting! And yes, I heartily support keeping our oceans and rivers and lakes and all that good stuff clean. Gooper Blooper is a very bad role model. |
