Nice! That looks very accurate to the original SMW design we all know, as well as the ones found from the Gigaleak.

But the question is... are these sprites compatible for ROM hacks?

I feel like most of them should be, it should mostly depend on what enemies have custom sprites and how said custom sprites arrange their graphics.

Just a few comments.
- The Angry Sun looks........ more like a Diamond-like shape?
- The goombas seem to be missing some shading. Mainly at the head area. Probably intended.
- Big Bertha/Boss Bass seems...... odd. Maybe its head white thingy seems either a little thick, or too tall?

Otherwise, these are pretty great! :)

Yeah, the lack of shading on the goombas' head is actually intentional, but I'll update the sheet to fix the other sprites. Big Bertha/Boss Bass' dorsal fin does look a bit odd, now that I think of it. Thanks!

Aren't Fire Snakes also appear in SMW?

They do, but they don't work the same way as the SMB3 ones, so I counted them as different enemies.

I found twp incorrect pixels on one of the Buster Beetle frames near it's foot.

I didn't notice that at all. It should be fixed when the sheet gets updated.

So... do you hate the SMM2 sprites? You do you, but I do think that there could be a reason as to why the SMM1 and SMM2 Hammer Bros are so drastically different to the gigaleak assets, while the Sledge Bros are in contrast only slightly different. Then again, Sledge Bros haven't really changed since their debut, if you ignore how they're green in their ingame SMB3 and SMAS SMB3 sprites, as everywhere else they are portrayed with yellow skin like their smaller counterparts. Food for thought I guess.

I wouldn't say I "hate" the Mario Maker sprites. Sure, they might look slightly out of place if you compare them directly to the original ones, and I'm also sure there's a reason for all the differences, but they're not that bad. I just wanted to make something a bit more accurate to the SMW sprites for fun.
Also I think it's kind of interesting that you're the second one that mentions the gigaleak assets, considering I didn't even use them as a reference. Some of these sprites, like the Hammer Bros, were actually made before the gigaleak.

Like again I am gonna bring up the Sledge Bro. The SMM1 and 2 one and yours both decided to make them accurate to the artwork rather than be a modified SMB3 sprite like their initial take in the gigaleak. Also some of the SMM1 and 2 sprites seem to be made to be as a what if on if they had more time to make fully new sprites for the Bob-ombs and fully do the Chain Chomp which did have a very similar, albeit unfinished design in the gigaleaks, being a fully reworked chomp with a more cohesive perspective in mind. As for Bob-ombs, the SMM series design kept the lack of fuse and key since the Bob-ombs in the game always came from either an offscreen generator (Para-Bombs) or bubbles, as the wickless and keyless design was the one that came from cannons in the airship and tank stages. The whole idea was that Bowser didn't have a full setup for making fuse-toting Bob-ombs for the events of SMW, resulting in all the Bob-ombs in the game automatically being lit upon being deployed. U get me?

Yeah, but it could also be that SMW only had that Bob-omb design and they just went with that for Mario Maker. And yes, my Sledge Bro was partially based on its artwork. But what does this Mario Maker sprite analysis have to do with my sprites? That's the only thing I don't get.
