The lighting system from Tenebris. I was originally going to release the whole engine, but the code in that was a mess, so here's the lighting and player control in a simplified form.
This is an example that shows you how to create a Mario & Luigi style Thwomp (in the overworld, that is). It also includes a very basic Mario & Luigi style engine, which contains only a few very basic actions however.
