General Commentary and Game Overview
This is one of the shortest demos I've ever played. Usually I have a whole bunch to talk about, but this time, I'll have to keep it short. (Or maybe not. Id I'm in a writing mood, I'll have a lot to say.)
Anyways, the game started with a picture saying Super Mario World, with an ugly font saying Revolution. It says press start, and you click it. Problem 1) Why can't you just map that to the enter button? It isn't very hard, is it? Anyways, you get a text wall of information, and if you're like me, I ignore it because I actually have to sit up in my chair and READ it. A video cutscene is much better in my opinion, and it looks like the game was made by professionals. When you do that, you go to this map. It looks like the most ugliest map I've ever seen because it has no HUD or anything. So when you start a level, it has your SMW graphics, music you've already heard, and a sub-par engine. There's a lack of HUD, and you can actually get stuck in blocks occasionally. And if you press left and right at the same time, you get Mario walking backwards in place. (Do the walking jerk.)
When you reach the end of the level, there's the end of level goal thing, you go through it, Mario does a peace sign animation, and with no effects at all, you return to the map. (By the way, the HUD doesn't go away when Mario does the animation.)
Same thing with the second level actually.
The good thing about the engine is there's fully functioning Koopas and junk, and the score things pop up above their heads when you hurt them or whatever.
At the castle level, there's a obnoxiously big sign that says "END OF DEMO" which is not needed whatsoever. It doesn't return you to the titlescreen upon reaching the level, nor does it exit the game.

Pros +Decent Engine

Cons -Text wall story
-Stupidly dumb signs
-Big "Made with Game Maker Lite" appears
-Unprofessional map

Impressions
Gameplay
5 / 10
The engine wasn't good because you could get stuck in walls. I think if you fixed this, along with all the other bugs I've stated in this review, I could rate it something higher. I also strongly recommend Game Maker Pro because it removes that ugly watermark. Or just upgrade with Game Maker 8. I don't think they removed the watermark in the newer versions, I don't remember because I don't even use Lite anymore, I used it such a long time ago.

Graphics
7 / 10
The watermark is very distracting, and it's reminding me that this game isn't professional. You gotta spend money to not make money, really. Some freeware games cost money to make, but the game is absolutely free. Also the map is unprofessional as well, look at some tutorials or something.

Sound
6 / 10
The sound was just SMW sounds and music, nothing really to talk about here. I mean seriously, we've heard these tunes a thousand times before, so really, nothing new. I have to give this a 6 because there's absolutely no new tunes.

Replay
5 / 10
It's a demo, with 2 levels, with a not so great engine. I don't think so.

Final Words
4 / 10
It's one of those MFGG games that make you go, meh.
