Thanks! I'm not sure that'd it'd even match up with Mario's sprite dimensions either since I didn't take any of that into consideration. Perhaps in the future I will expand it with more poses. For now I just made the bare minimum for the role Peach normally plays.

I feel like I warped back in time, which I love about this. It definitely has that classic MFGG humor. It's a little too frustrating for my taste at times, but it was overall a pleasant experience.

Thank you for your review! I'm glad you enjoyed the game overall. I'm sorry you disliked the guards so much. The reason I used those knight graphics is because the point of the game jam was to make something that felt like a very old fan game, and lots of those used a lot of weird Clickteam assets (which the knights are). Whether or not they are too weird even for an old fangame is a matter of taste, I suppose. I like weird things, so the knights were actually my favorite NPCs.

Also, all the music except for the final boss theme is MIDI. I'm glad you liked the music though! And thank you again for your review. I appreciate it, my fellow gamer :)

Nice work, and interesting style. It looks to me like Paper Mario with a hint of Yoshi's Island.
