MFGG Fangame Jam 3

 That's right kiddos, we are holding another one of these! Here's how it works, you got 3 days, and you're tasked with making a fangame in that time. You can team up with others or you can go solo. Your game also has to follow a certain theme, which will be announced when the jam starts. It's starting on the 25th of June at 12 PM PST. There's no limitation when it comes to game engines, just follow all the rules stated in the FAQ section of the jam page. I know what I will do. And it will be made in Scratch but I will change the filename or use a converter. And what file extension does it have to be?

MFGG accepts games made in any engine as long as they meet our basic quality standards. (Just make sure you export your game as an .EXE file, and that it doesn't require any unusual dependencies.) That said, Scratch is fairly limited, and if you're serious about making games, I'd suggest you try some other tools such as Game Maker, Clickteam Fusion, Godot, and Unity. |

I could use Scratch and I could find a Scratch project to exe converter (its just i wont be able to run the exe file because im stuck on a chromebook |

HTMLifier should be fine, it doesn't have to be an exe file as long as it runs on Windows platforms without requiring anything else to be installed. I'd say HTML files fall in that category, alongside exe files. Also, if you guys are confused about how the jam works, the itch.io page explains it in detail. Basically, you only have 3 days to make a game, and you can't start early. |
