General Commentary and Game Overview

Ah, kjellm87 impresses us with another game.

This time, it's about Bowser ( or King Koopa ), who invaded the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario goes on a mission to retrieve the Kingdom, all by himself. And you, as the player, gotta help him!

The name may be generic but you shouldn't get fooled by that.

The game features many levels and moves, like a Wall-Jump and Ground Pound.

Anyway, on with the review!

Pros	+ Many levels. + Many nice moves. + Customizable Controls. + Nice music. + Good Controls. ( Mario doesn't slip ) + Many secrets. ( mostly 1-UPs )
Cons	- No Luigi. (You should have been able to play the game as Luigi after you beat it. ) - A bit on the easy side. - Where is the Fire-Flower? - Starman is only in one level.

Impressions

Gameplay 10 / 10	The gameplay is simple: You start on the beginning of a level and you have to finish it. Along the way, you meet Goombas, Koopas and other classic enemies. You must venture through 5 Worlds (4 levels and 1 boss each ) and a final level, in which you battle Bowser at the end. Mario has more moves at his disposal instead of just running and jumping, he can Wall-Jump, Ground Pound a special move called the "High Jump". There are very little to no glitches, which is good. In all, Gameplay deserves a 10/10.
Graphics 9 / 10	The graphics are all self-made and look good. Each World has it's own theme, like Mountains or a desert. But Mario appears so small. Graphics get a 9/10 from me.
Sound 10 / 10	Mario has many different sounds, for jumping and more. Nearly each level has it's own music, and it's all high-quality. (Starman theme, Melty Molten Galaxy and more ) So Sound gets a 10/10.
Replay 8 / 10	There is some replay-value if you want to know what's in that block you've missed and things like that. Overall, there isn't much replay value, but it's overshadowed by the fun of this game. Replay Value gets a 8/10 from me.

Also one of the better (maybe best hand-drawn ) fangames here on MFGG. Download it now and enjoy it!
