General Commentary and Game Overview
This is one of the best games MFGG has ever seen. The main draw is its wide powerup variety. The ability to buy any powerup you want between levels using coins means you can approach each level in many different ways, so the game never becomes repetitive. Inexperienced players may find it difficult, but the only time it ever got frustrating for me was when I couldn't figure out a boss's weakness.

Pros -Excellent powerups
-Good level design
-good boss battles
-good story for a mario fangame

Cons -boss weaknesses occasionally confusing.

Impressions
Gameplay
10 / 10
The engine isn't perfect, however it is close. Only problem is that when you use Yoshi's tongue, or hit a cieling or wall in midair, your momentum is abruptly cancelled. Other than that, no problems with the engine.
The main thing that makes this game fun is the excellent selection of powerups. If I remember correctly, there are 8, not including Yoshi, which is authentically implemented in the same way as SMW, plus a flutter jump.
The ability to purchase these items with coins at any time between levels makes it not seem like the powerups are mere level features, but allows each level to be played differently depending on which powerups you bring. The levels themselves are decent, but the main draw is how they interact with the powerups. The bosses are an exception to this, as they are all immune to powerup attacks. However, these bosses are fun, at least when they aren't confusing.

Graphics
10 / 10
All custom, except for a few ill-fitting SMW backdrops here and there. Looks great, for the most part.

Sound
8 / 10
The sound quality is low, I don't know if it's MIDIs or if it's just badly compressed sound, either way it sounds rather distorted. However, there is a wide amount of variety in the tracks chosen, with few being reused more than a couple of times; most of them fit the level; and many are catchy anyway.

Replay
8 / 10
Wide powerup variety means the same level can be challenged multiple times and cleared by somewhat different methods. There are apparently also a few hidden secrets to look for, though I have yet to find any. So, although I may not be replaying it, I will say that it is definitely a great deal more replayable than most MFGG platformers.

Final Words
9 / 10
I would put it at the same quality level as Toad Strikes back and Super Mario Stardust. So, yeah, you should definitely play it.
