General Commentary and Game Overview
Wario and the Magic Map starts off with a blaring WAV file and a slew of somewhat unsightly graphics. To say the least, I was put off.
I need to stress this: do not quit here. The game's atmosphere improves dramatically after you tap the Enter key. Graphics improve, sounds improve, and the gameplay isn't something to miss. You control Wario and his arsenal of moves, and it always feels great. Play for a few minutes or play to beat your high scores. Whatever your motive: play.
