Seperate them in pieces so they can be easily tiled.

I use GameMaker to group all my tiles together so it's easier to place more than one at once. Of course, like Somari said, it's not had at all to separate them yourself.

Ooh, this looks very nice and useful! Good job, Qwerty Triple6! I can't really say anything negative about it.

Thank you!

And thats why he changed it to "Qwerty Triple6".

Actually, I changed it to match my forum username. It was like that because the name "qwertyuiop666" was already taken; either I tried to make an account way back when or someone else used that name, I dunno.

It looks nice, in my eyes. One switch I would like to talk about is the one with the skull on it. The top seems a bit jagged. Also, why does it have a different light source when compared to the other switches? It seems to even have a little bit of pillow shading in some areas.

The other switches seem fine to me, although some of the colors seem to have too little contrast when compared to the other shades (but, if you just used SMB3's colors, I guess that's fine), but that's all the problems I have noticed so far.

Thanks! The Skull Switch is like that because I used a lot of elements from how it appeared in NSMB: http://i.imgur.com/Pe5XWZY.png
And yes, the colors are from the SMB3 palette (or at least as close as I can find).

The background looks like it was mirrored over one half. Anyway, nice rip!

How Do I Get That Background?

It's just a palette swamp of the SMW cave background with the blue hues I used in that image.

coins are sprites or tiles?

Tiles, by my definition, are inanimate objects drawn together used to represent scenery (if that makes any sense), and they only serve any interaction to Mario by solid (or semi-solid) collision, or simply in the background, where Mario can't interact with them at all. I'd say coins are what you're calling "sprites", since they are animated, and Mario can interact with them in a way that doesn't rely on a solid.

Did that make any sense to anyone?

These kinds look somewhat similar to what Mors made... http://www.mfgg.net/index.php?act=resdb

Early on, I had trouble with the shoe coloration, so I used Mor's sheet for the Goomba shoe color

why are the trees floating?

Oops, forgot to fill in the space between the roots! Just think of it as a tree with the roots upraised.

Funny how a simple and straightforward statement can, apparently, be enough to trigger someone to start an absurd argument, huh?

It can also proceed to blow up my Messages inbox, too. Interesting discussion, though.
