I don't like to leave these kind of comments but like.. the controls suck, if you're supposed to play this on a keyboard why are the arrow keys to move and not WASD?? jump is not the space bar it's z for some reason and sprint is x not shift and the.. uhh spin jump?? idk you leave it like that and otherwise this game looks good and if you mastered the controls it would play good in my opinion, all I'm saying to fix the controls and such but yeah this game is really good besides that, keep up the good work.

Arrow keys to move plus Z and X to jump and run respectively is a standard control configuration in fangames. In fact, I've never heard of a fangame that uses the control scheme you'd like to have. What kind of layout does your keyboard have?

I think times like this show that allowing players to customize the controls in games is a very good idea. Though, this game appears to be a demo, so customizable controls could possibly be a planned feature. If not, then to any of the developers reading this, I think you should consider implementing that. :)

Seems promising so far, but with this being advertised as a Mario Maker fan game, I'm surprised there's seemingly no editor in the game yet. While I understand demos won't have every feature a game has planned, the editor is the first thing mentioned in the description and is presumably the main selling point for this fangame, so it's odd that it's missing in this demo

Mario controls pretty well and I like how polished everything looks, especially the opening, the pipe animations, and the effects when you hit enemies with the fireballs. Only visual thing I didn't care for was the lighting and how it seemed overly bright in certain spots.

I managed to get to the first boss, the King Goomba, but the game started lagging pretty hard, making it unplayable for me. I don't know if it's my computer or what, but the game ran fine for me up to that point.

I assume its some sort of keyboard FPS game layout so you can move, run and jump all with one hand while leaving the other to use the mouse. Don't think I've seen it used in any traditional Mario fangame though
