Impressions

Gameplay 8 / 10	Toad can get objects out of the ground. It can be coins, vegetables (which look different at different levels) and power-ups. Toad can also grab some enemies (Shy Guys for example) and blocks that look similar to rotating blocks from Super Mario World. Our Fungus can throw grabable objects (veggies, some enemies, eyed blocks) in three directions (no buttons for forward and slowly getting lower, up button for up, down button... well, for down.). There's three power-ups to use. each of them is useful in its own way. Also you can talk to NPC's (they are very fun to listen). Physics are very well, but for some people Toad's speed may seem to fast (but I liked it). Well, in water stages Toad is too slow for me. Also there's some glitches, but they aren't really threatening. Except for one. I don't know why, but sound effects can take over the game and it will go on only if you will keep pressing buttons. I despise this glitch. However, you can stop it. I managed to defeat the glitch two times. Also there's Mushroom Medals. They are present in every level of every world. If you collected every medal in a particular world, the world's secret level is unlocked. The secret levels are super unique, so I highly recommend you to collect the mushroom medals. Level design is excellent. The stages are fun to play and are built very cleverly (well, 4th world's boss level has a couple of blindjump section, which isn't good).
Graphics 10 / 10	Nice mixture of different styles. Even custom sprites are present and look good!
Sound 10 / 10	This game's music is awesome! The songs fit the levels and are pleasant to listen. Underwater theme is a relaxing, chill and nostalgic remix of "Make Eggs, Throw Eggs" theme from Yoshi's Islands. Military transport theme is a serious and fast remix of the military transport theme from Super Mario Bros. 3. I really love this game's soundtrack! The only bad thing is that the music isn't looping in a good way, but that's not really harmful and isn't the fault of the songs.

Final Words

My first impressions were like "This game may not be bad, but it seems to be very overrated." But the further I went, the more I became convinced that it is is a wonderful game. I highly recommend everyone to play it. It's worth it, truth me!
