General Commentary and Game Overview

VERY nice original graphics, Fanguy is one of MFGG's most promising spriters.

Pros	Great original graphics, slick gameplay, nice music - even the intro is fun to watch.
Cons	Piranha Plants still come out of their pipes even if Mario is standing on them.

Impressions

Gameplay 9 / 10	Extremely slick gameplay. Even without tons of special features (and nary a power-up), this game still manages to play so well you'll wonder how it could've been produced by an amatuer.
Graphics 10 / 10	Probably the best original graphics I've ever seen in a fangame. They're not 16-bit, 32-bit, or cell-shaded - and I wouldn't want it any other way.
Sound 7 / 10	The music is good, although it doesn't seem to fit the level very well at all.
Replay 8 / 10	As far as single level demos go, I find myself playing this one a lot more than most others.

Final Words

If this demo is any indication, the full version of Legend of the Hammer Warrior is going to blow everybody in the Mario fangaming community away.
