I think there should be more instructions, because I'm almost completely clueless about what I'm doing in the game.

The game is good, but it's also rather glitchy, unfortunately. For example, if you're on the last red brick and the only other block is a "?" block, then you'll start to rapidly gain gems by the hundreds. A less serious glitch is, sometimes, when using the propeller power, you will get stuck outside the level somewhere, but this hardly ever happens.
