Two month have passed, but due to my studing, i am an IT student, and my work, the game will not come soon... I am doind a major rewrite, again, and I have serious priorities on it, because i am trying to make it better than in most games here.

for now, Plus! mode will maybe not exist in next version, but I hope that i will at least release a demo soon.

p.s. sorry for my double-posting.

I stopped reading the comments on page 2, I'm sorry.

My opinion is simple:

WARNING: SPOIL BELOW!!

Toadstool killed by Bowser - Good idea, making mario angry, mario is ready to do everything to destroy Bowser. So, this is normal Mario to take the gun and start shooting at Bowser's friends (I mean, enemies).

Now, about gameplay:

The gameplay is good, but HOWEVER... there is a drawback on it!

Yes, you CAN stomp enemies, but your bullets get easy refilled. Having this makes stomping unneeded at all. You should make a coins to give bullets or something similar, the player must think im MARIO style, so he can't shot, he can stomp. Spinies are very good realised in this way, but limiting shooting will help.

Also, remove that bloody effects WHEN STOMPING!
Let the goombas be smashed again, and koopa shells move and clear all on its way. Yes, you still can use blood but smashed goomba gib should be good in this place. Grenades must also be limited to certain number and you should collect them.
Did you played Jazz Jackrabbit? This is very well ballanced 2m Mario-styled shooter, so if you take the JJ's Pros and implement them, this Mario game will be VERY well at all!

Good game. Well, making an Level Editor with Game Maker isn't difficult! Just learn it :).
The engine is good, but game can still be improved.

Great game but can be more great.

The game is good, but isn't well programmed. The game is made with Game Maker 7.0 (I noticed this in the editor, an error occured and the message was from GM7) This is nice, but however, the game is not optimized and its performance is bad on my cpmputer. There are bugs related to room transitions when game is not in full screen. The idea is original, I think, but due to speed I don't completed World 1-2.

I know this ewngine very well... before, I tried it. However, the engine is NOT optimized at all and in higher levels require very, extremely fast CPUs.
About the game, I didn't like the level design

I LOVE Game Maker! Even I'm usibg it for my mario game. But, however, I convert my games as the author to run on Windows Vista.

But there is a thing I didn't like in your game:
You didn't changed the default messageboxes! This gray msgboxes are annoying.

Hi. After looong time I visited the site. A friend (BabyBowser) added my game here.
I am currently working to new beta-release, version 0.7. It is a major rewrite, and will have many features. It will be ready after about 1-2 months. Version 0.7 will be is two-language version - Bulgarian AND english. There will be two different game styles, Classic mode and Plus! mode.
Violence (I mean, the blood), will be:
1. more realistic than these "fireworks" in 0.2 and
2. OFF by default.
The game will include a level editor, probably locked by default, and several mini-games. In full version i even plan a multiplayer modes, but I don't promise.
