Pros | -Classic Mario gameplay in a 3D fangame -Paper Mario visuals -Paper Mario music! -The bosses are pretty neat -Arcade-like charm brought to you by the linear, but fun level designs |
Cons | -I guess the difficulty is somewhat sporadic at certain times -There may be too much of those spike logs |
Gameplay 9 / 10 |
It's classic Mario gameplay in 3D as Super Mario 3D Land presented it. The level designs are at the simple, linear kind of structure that the 3DS title had them out to be, but it's worked in that game just fine as it has kind of an arcade-like charm to them, and that holds true to this fanmade variation. The boss battles are unique and suprisingly challenging to a good degree. |
Graphics 10 / 10 |
I've always loved Paper Mario's graphics, and considering how few 3D fangames there are, you don't often get to see them in action. |
Sound 9 / 10 |
Paper Mario has always had a unique and fun song selection, except for Sticker Star. That said, I'm happy that DJ Coco went with those soundtracks and only used SS's level selection music. |
Replay 9 / 10 |
Hey, I replay Super Mario 3D Land at times, so why not the case be true here too? |

This game is better than Paper Mario Sticker Star. I'm dead serious! If you have a good computer, you owe it to yourself to play this one. |
