Click Extract - Old Click Game Component Extractor By: Vitiman
NOTE: I didn't make this, ValleyBell of Sonic Retro did. His original topic can be found at this link: http://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?showtopic=23997

I've noticed literally tons of people complaining about how those old Clickteam libraries can't be opened at all with Game Maker or MSPaint and the like. While this should be common sense, seeing as it's in a format you aren't familiar with, I had recently come across this neat little tool that can let you extract the sprites, music, etc. from these old libs for your own usage, meaning people not familiar with TGF or MMF can finally use these age old sprites!

( also, this tool can remove the protection from almost any TGF game file, but I figured it wasn't useful pointing out with it being an outdated program; along with the moral consequences )

So yeah, enjoy!

This is also a handy tool for those of you who have scrapped games from years ago, that you wish to continue working on.

save for a plugin or 2, TGF sources are compatible with MMF1, MMF2, and TGF2.

Hey, this is pretty cool! I used it to save level maps and look at sprites from Super Mario Pandemonium 2 and Legend of the Hammer Warrior, and I made some pretty cool discoveries!

It seems that it deleted itself eventually, along with the folder it's in (which has other stuff in it), however though. Are you sure that this is safe?

Unless something happened while I uploaded this, I have no reason to suspect that this file is a virus/malware. It still exists on my computer, and I confess to combing through older fangames a lot over the years so it certainly hasn't gone unused. Has your anti-virus mistaken it for malware and automatically removed it, maybe? That's the only thing I can think of.

I downloaded it again a while ago, and it seems to be doing fine right now. I looked at just one fangame with it so far. I'll be keeping an eye at it, though.

Okay, so I found out a while ago that it didn't actually delete itself and the folder it was in. The folder is in the fangames folder, which is weird, as I could've sworn that it was just in my C drive (or was it?).

At least I was wrong about the whole virus thing! (And thank goodness, as I have some cool stuff in that folder!)
