General Commentary and Game Overview
Subpop Seas is a fun and enjoyable minigame that was "rushed", says Best Games Forever, the author. Ride around in a submarine while dodging incoming enemies and collecting coins. It only contains one huge level, though.

Pros - Auto scrolling camera
- Good fitting music background
- Resources were used well (sprites, music, etc, all match the theme of the minigame)

Cons - No title screen...or anything for that matter
- Had a hard time exiting from the game
(might be just me though)

Impressions
Gameplay
8 / 10
You get straight into the game once you open it. No title screen or anything. You, Mario, adventure in a submarine through this one long underwater level. Just watch out for them Cheep Cheep and other enemies or you'll lose health. You can blast them and blocks with projectiles using the space bar. One thing that annoyed me is the camera. It is interesting that it's autoscrolled, but you can easily get stuck between that and blocks, and kill yourself, and at times, you don't have much room to move around in. I also didn't like much that you could only fire a torpedo in one direction (right), you should've been able to turn left, and have the sprite flip and fire torpedos from there. It's an addictive game, but if it wasn't so rushed, it could have had more levels (shorter ones too).

Graphics
9 / 10
Most of the sprites are SMW based. And I like games that use matching sprites, it doesn't make the game look ugly.

Sound
9 / 10
Most of the sound and music is fine and matching, but there should've been a sound effect when launching a torpedo.

Replay
8 / 10
Subpop Seas is an enjoyable and addictive game, it's worth replaying at least a few more times.

Final Words
8 / 10
Even though this game was rushed, it's still an enjoyable minigame, and worth a try.

Um, in a subpop game, you not supposed to be able to shoot torpedoes in more than one direction.
