General Commentary and Game Overview
Well, it's been a while since I played this game. But it's one of the first games I played when I first stumbled upon MFGG, so it's one that I remember quite well. Since I had this old account lying around that I never used, I figured I should use it for something, and this seems like a good start.

The story of Yoshi vs. Windows is simple. Bill Gates and his evil henchman Clippit have plans of world domination, Mario's nowhere to be found, so it's up to a bunch of yoshis who are all appropriately named "Yoshi" to stop them.

Pros -Interesting Story

Cons -Irritating gameplay
-Awful graphics
-Extremely repetitive music
-Very bland level design

Impressions
Gameplay
4 / 10
It seems like a simple idea, eat all the enemies and the path to the next stage opens up. But the more I played this game, the more awkward the gameplay felt. Avioding the enemies is absurdly simple, as they just shift back and forth, staying in a tiny little space that you can stand right next to without getting hurt. As I played further Yoshi started getting stuck in the floors, walls, and worst of all, ceilings. A few levels have clever little gimmicks, but many of them aren't much fun because they often end up killing Yoshi rather than helping him along. The game has two bosses, the first of which is little more than an oversised enemy with health. It's playable, but alot of the things that were supposed to make the game more fun actually make it less.

Graphics
3 / 10
I imagine it's not easy to put Yoshi on a windows desktop without ending up with a clashy mess, but that's precisely what it is. In most circumstances graphics like this aren't worthy of anything higher than a 1, but I've yet to see a Yoshi's island-styled Windows tileset.

Sound
1 / 10
The only positive thing I can say is that the game's not silent. But the very short, repetitive, and sometimes off-key music sometimes made me wish it was.

Replay
3 / 10
You might replay this game once for laughs, but there really isn't anything that makes you want to play it again.

Final Words
3 / 10
Yoshi vs. Windows might be worth a try if you're bored, but I'd suggest you look around for something else first.
