These sprites here were going into a project that I was working on for a few weeks, this is whats left of my forgotten old project that I abandoned about a year ago. I thought these could be useful for someone out there, so here you go.

This reminds me of that really old Castlevania-Mario crossover Mario XP. They look great even without comparing the two. Good job!

That game was basically my inspiration for these sprites. Thanks for the compliment. I could probably continue these sprites if I get enough feedback.

Love the rough, gritty look. Though the shading makes Mario's nose look a bit too big.

I actually had the same idea a year ago, and uploaded one of the sprite sheets today. We'll see when they will get accepted...

I don't want to seriously reprehend this site's uploading system, but it's a little annoying. I uploaded some dumb sprite sheet which has yet to see the light of day. I don't see why sprites can't be uploaded without the approval of all the staff members and whatnot. There's also a file size limit, which stopped me from uploading one of my editable games.
