Goomba Invaders

Goomba Invaders, plays similar to the original arcade game, Space Invaders, but, of course, with a Mario twist! Goombas are invading the Mushroom Kingdom, and who would help but Mario? Use the left and right arrow keys to move, and space to shoot Superballs or Fireballs. Defeat all the enemies to advance to the next level. Try to hit the ? Blocks for... Super Mushroom - Makes Mario big, allowing for one extra hit before he dies Fire Flower - Allows you to have up to two hits(Getting hit turns to Super Mario), and you can shoot up to 4 fireballs at a time! Mini Mushroom - Makes Mario tiny, allowing you to fit into small spaces and defeat otherwise unreachable Goombas! It also allows you to shoot up to 2 Superballs. There are also a few bosses. Around level 15, you'll encounter 3 Lakitus, whom take multiple hits to kill, and drop Spinies on you! And, at the end of the game, you fight Bowser. To beat him, shoot at the ceiling to bounce your balls onto his head! See how high you can get your score!

Why thank you. I worked quite hard on this. You should submit a review for it. :D I actually made it for a comp, but it didn't win. Also, expect a slightly similar game to come as soon as I get off my lazy ass and submit it.

Great fun game! Ya gotta love Space Invaders, but now it's Mario-ized! How did you get the Goombas to move like that (as in across the screen and move down and move again, not animation)?

I made it so when they hit the edge of the screen, they move down and reverse direction.
