1. Don't make a comment like you did about "no first comment." It's just as bad as some one doing so.

2. Looks like you've got yourself well-adjusted in FL Studio. Now you need to start using custom instruments, instead of the default ones; you need more variety in your music, because almost all of the songs sound the same.

3. Do not use FL Slayer. I used to use it, and I am very glad I only used it for two songs. It sounds terrible, flat, and in no way like an electric guitar. You're better off using a clean electric guitar sample, hooking it up to a virtual amp, and strumming it via the Piano Roll. You'll also get more ability to strike chords so you can get more differentiations in each guitar hit.

4. Good bass drum, but the rest of your drum track seem to be lost in the rest of the sound, you need to bring them up. Which leads me to point 5,

5. Equalize. Your songs have a lot going on in them, and you need to find the correct frequency to put each instrument in so that it sounds like a collaboration of efforts, rather than one big noise produced by a factory.

They sound like very nice remixes. They sound quite professional. A bit all-over-the-place in some cases, but that could probably be fixed with some musical knowledge and patience. I think they're pretty good, though. Better than I could do. Just keep it up, keep trying, and don't give up! You just may become a veeeeery skilled "music maker" someday or something like that. :3

In short, good job.

actually, the problem is that it's not metal enough - it's in between no metal and full metal with the lousy VSTi used

I don't how to make my own instruments. Everytime I try it just comes out perfectly QUIET. Also, I don't know what equalizing is, and judging from context clues, it's adjusting levels, which I don't really think is necessary. Honestly I don't want to get too advanced with it.

Wait a minute... If you submitted these to Newgrounds... why didn't you submit them here first?

All you need to do is look for some research online (Google) on different VST's and VSTi's to use for effects and instruments that will sound good.

Also look into varying volumes - not just different volumes for each instrument, but each note, how the instrument will output those different volumes.

Equalizing isn't advanced, and it will do you some good - if you don't, like I said, your music will sound like a huge garble of messy sound, and that's something you definitely want to avoid.

Well, I like the SMB3 Water one and the SMRPG one.
The others are too un-Mario-like and I can't recognize them though I've played those games.

The ones from NSMB, SMRPG and SMB3 sound good, but the others sounded too weak. Also, you need to reduce the noise in all of them.

I think you should not only reduce the noise in some songs, but also choose your instruments carefully. It has to keep around the mario theme.....

I don't like the SMB1 level 1 or the SMW remix, but the others are slightly good. The NSMB is the absolutely best one.
I really hope you improve these, and listen to advises from people who know something about this
