EX-LIB: Thunder Dragon's Mario 64 Pack By: Pedigree [E]
This spritesheet is an as-is conversion of Thunder Dragon's Mario 64 Sprite Pack, originally uploaded as a Clickteam Sprite Library dating back to at least September 26th, 2003.

Some directions of the "8 direction Mario" in the library that aren't seen here are just horizontal flipped from what is displayed in this sheet.

All credit belongs to Thunder Dragon. Project Ex-Lib exists solely to catalog and celebrate MFGG's history while ensuring the graphics are accessible to those who do not have access to Clickteam products!

That aside, it's amazing how far we've come since the earliest days of MFGG. We went from terrible, low-quality JPEG screenshot rips (with occasional clean rips from only NES, SNES, GBA, and certain DS games) to clean, high-quality emulator and model rips no matter what platform we're ripping from, without a JPEG-quality rip in sight. Just goes to show how much technology (and our ripping skills) has evolved.

you do remember this is 2003 we are talking about. this would be the best of sprites back then. we should be thankful that we're converting these.

Ripped graphics were not as common back then as they are today and were not as advanced or well done.

The point of Project Ex-Lib is to convert these from Clickteam libraries so that people can take a look at our history without having to download a Clickteam product to do so.

Yeah, no. I read the explanation for why this should be on this site and I don't agree. It's a bad rip, no excuses.

Your opinion is noted. Thanks for your input.

Though if you really did read, you might realize it's not my "bad rip" and therefore I'm not "making excuses".

Well. I am fully in agreement with everyone who says this is a bad, bad, bad rip (also, I don't even remember making it, haha... it might be older than 2003, even).

Had I known about this, I would have declined the heck out of it (they apparently didn't take away my staff privileges yet, for some reason. ;P). Don't get me wrong, I think you're doing a great thing with these conversions, but... some things just kinda need to stay in the past. Haha.

There are some actually useful libs for you to convert, though, and I hope to see you continue this project into the future! However, should you convert any of mine, I would humbly ask that you please omit my name, for nowadays I refuse to take credit for rips of somebody else's work. Things were quite different back when this was from, as has been well established!
