Those are some neat diagonal sprites!

Thanks, I believe at the time I used a tool called Rotsprite to make those frames.

Glad to hear that you're back in action! It is a pretty solid sprite sheet but the frame for the stem (near the Bowser statue) is slightly thinner. I am not certain if that's a minor error or that's just how it looked in the original game.

I am pretty sure it is the frame is the same width throughout, in this case it is slightly thinner but that was the compromise of trying keep things to the 16x16 grid and keep the bow part of the tileset to the smallest practical tile count. In hindsight another 2-4 tiles probably wouldn't be a big issue though.

ayy, squishy rex is back! your sprites still look as awesome as ever, dude.

I am back, maybe not as much as I used to be, but I feel like making sprites and graphics again as opposed to it feeling like a job not a hobby, which was where I got to. I have plenty of stuff to come and I appreciate everyone's feedback. Thanks again guys!

Can you add more plz?

SM3DW and SM3DL Enemies

Yes I will be adding quite a few of the debut enemies from both of these games in the near future, at least that is the plan. They are all finished, I just need to make their appropriate sheets so stay tuned. :)

Awesome job! by the way, why are you deleting and re-submitting your sprite sheets? Starting fresh?

Pretty much, a lot my sheets, especially the older ones, are, well let's say "bad". Mostly it's just bad shading or line work, but there's also some that are just laid out badly. I figured the easiest thing to do was to nuke them all and fix them up. As it is, with the few sheets I have fixed already, I've also ended up creating new sprites in the process. So don't worry, everything I've ever uploaded will return in time, just hopefully in better quality. :)

Really great sprites, Squishy Rex!
Liked your work for quite a while.
Just a question, is the prototype the smaller Magmaargh?

Thanks, that's great to know, it's appreciated. :)
To answer your question, yes, the prototype is the smaller version. If I remember correctly, I named it "Minimaargh" or something like that when I first made it.

I have been in a way. Mostly just going through all of my stuff, fixing the old, terrible sprites and turning them in sheets. I figured I may as well share them as well while I'm at it, so there's still quite a few things for me to upload.

That tileset is well made and is a brilliant concept. I never would have thought to extend the platform to a full blown tileset. On the idea of other Boss Battles, really the only one that would look primo in my opinion would be an expansion of the Tipsy Turtle Shell, the others are pretty standard though.

And speaking of SMBX.ORG, why you no visit us anymore...

I'm glad someone finally ripped the Goal Cards and their animations. They'd be plenty useful for a few different applications and I have a good use for the item rotations. Thanks for ripping these.
