General Commentary and Game Overview
The first time I played "Normal Super Mario Bros. 1", I thought it was great simply for the concept. When I saw this game, it looked even better and I enjoyed it much more.

This game's deserving of one good review, so I'm giving it one.

Pros It's just fun. I'm sure my possitive words throughout my review will show all the pros in themselves.

Cons The Mario Galaxy type stage doesn't really work all together "perfectly". It was the only part of the game I didn't like, as it took away from the really appeal of the "Normal" series. If it had been better incorperated within the style of the "Normal" series, I wouldn't have a problem with it, but it wasn't, so I do.

Impressions
Gameplay
8 / 10
Aside from a glitch here or there and the small learning curve for the controls, the game plays fine. As for all those...events in the game, their great fun.

I already mentioned my dislike of the "Galaxy" stage point; no need to talk about that again.

You can nit-pick a game like this, but for what it is, it accomplishes its goal well.

Graphics
10 / 10
I'm surprised with how much better this game looked over the last. Aside from random uses of different bit format graphics, it all looks pretty.

Sound
10 / 10
It's there, it's funny, it works.

Replay
5 / 10
This game is quite short, not too difficult, and doesn't offer anything new for a second play through at all. However, the gameplay of it alone can make anyone play it again, but not that many more times. It's just one of those games you play every once in a while until your done with it. Still, it's replayable.

Final Words
8 / 10
This game is...yeah...and then some. Totally worth a play, and worth being made into a trilogy!

I thought the galaxy part was clever, it was unexpected and quite funny, especially the planets you step on.
