Gameplay
7 / 10
Gameplay itself feels for the Mario Kart experience, even if it's from a top-camera view. The game follows the classic setting of 8 kart racers in a cup, with items, boosters, traps, dead-ends, and more. The difficulty settings allow players to get used the somewhat akward steering, then take on a harder setting when you're more used to it. The steering itself is hard to tag along with due to the fact that it's top-view racing, but eventually most plaers should get the feeling of the driving, similar to actual games like Kirby Air Ride: Top Ride and others. Some cons here are that at points in levels your driver literally disappears, causing confusion and most liekly hitting a wall. But to make up for it, the multiplayer option allows you to race with friends and enjoy what the feeling of what Mario Kart should be, which is nailed perfectly.

Graphics
7 / 10
The style of graphics here is set in the SNES era of Mario Kart, where Mario was at the beggining, with few comrades. You look at it now, fangamers have made the SNES Kart style a gold-mine for new designs. Thus, we have a good-looking cast, good to match items, with few slow-downs within the game.

Sound
9 / 10
The collection here consists of a wide selection of Midis off of just about every Mario Kart game out there, and almost every track has a different song, which is a very nice variety which should be noticed. If you're a fan at all of the series music, you're sure to love the tracks provided for our music pleasure.

Replay
9 / 10
The multiplayer in this game ignites the fire for replay value. No two races are ever the same, something is always different somehow, someway. Even when you're stuck inside on a rainy day, the computers and the game's countless optinos let you try tons of different things until you're too tired to use your fingers anymore. Just what we need around here.

Final Words
7 / 10
It's Mario Kart, so what else should be said? Sure, it's not the greatest, but at least you'll be the not-the-greatest with companions.
